The forest picture – part III

Here’s another blog post, so what’s new?

It’s hard to beat getting Daily Deviation on DeviantArt I wrote about in my last blog post, but I will try. Because the big news is, that I got a package with the first (and hopefully not last) book that I have illustrated – Into Exaltia by Heather Rivera. A proper book that was published and that you can buy on Amazon. A link to Amazon is here, go on, don’t be mean and buy it. It’s not like you have something to lose, right? Money is designed to be spent.

I’ve finished reading the book (I haven’t read it yet, I always got descriptions of the illustrations from the author and I drew them) and I can say it’s really good and fun to read. I admit I am not a young reader aged 9-12 (who the book is mainly for) but that didn’t stop me from enjoying reading it.

I’d like to announce that this is the end of the advertisement part. Except it’s not, because I took a photo of the book as well and you can see it below.

Under the picture of my progress on the “Robot in a forest” illustration.

  1. I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed the book. Thank you for the blog. I’m going to share.

Thanks and I’m looking forward to working with you again. I’m grateful that I found such a talented artist who is also a pleasure to work with.

  2. Thanks for the comment!
And I did enjoy the book. I didn’t know whether I would like it or not (it’s hard to tell just from a few scenes – illustrations) but I really think it’s well written and fun to read.

I liked working with you too. You know what you want, and that makes it much easier for both of us. 🙂
